A simpler way to reach home
Home Assistant connects from inside your home over HTTPS. Relay works behind CGNAT, with no public IP address or incoming router port required.
Check a sensor, turn off a light or run a script from your browser. Choose your controls and readings — called entities in Home Assistant — and we’ll create the dashboard. No VPN required.
Keep your free dashboard for as long as you like. Upgrade from your account for more entities, faster updates and extra household logins.
Start with Relay
We generate the YAML configuration and automation for your selected entities. Add them to Home Assistant using our setup guide. No custom integration is required.
See the step-by-step guide →Create a free account and choose up to 5 entities, such as lights, sensors, switches or scripts.
Add the generated block to your Home Assistant configuration, check the YAML and reload the REST commands.
Paste the generated code into Home Assistant’s automation editor and save.
Return to Relay setup and check for an update. Open your dashboard when your readings arrive.
Two ways to connect
Choose Relay for everyday controls with simpler setup. Choose Proxy for your existing dashboards and settings, with additional network setup.
Relay · Start free
Relay gives you a focused dashboard for selected entities. For your existing dashboards, cameras and full Home Assistant history, choose Proxy.
Proxy · $72 USD / year
Proxy requires port forwarding and a reachable public IPv4 address. It does not work behind CGNAT. The connection from our server to your home is not encrypted by default, so intercepted traffic could expose sign-in details. HTTPS can protect this connection if your home has a valid, trusted certificate.
Both work with your existing Home Assistant installation. Keep Home Assistant running and connected to the internet for remote access. Compare all four plans.
Plans that grow with your needs
Free Relay has no time limit. Upgrade for more entities, faster updates, a personal subdomain and outage alerts by email. Give your household separate dashboard logins while you manage setup and billing.

Paid plans are billed annually and renew automatically. Cancel renewal anytime. Update intervals are approximate; a slow connection can delay readings and actions. See paid Relay plans.

A short recording of the real Relay interface with simulated devices. Standard Relay checks every 15 seconds; Free Relay checks every 60 seconds. Connection delays can make it take longer.
We turn off a lamp. Its switch stays on while the request waits, then Home Assistant collects it. The switch changes to off only after a new reading confirms it. Then we find the temperature chart and explore curtain and vacuum controls.
